Over 8 tons of Hashish seized in Morocco

The authorities in Casablanca seaport have recently seized more than eight tons of Hashish, with an estimated value of over MD80 million (about US$9 million). The drugs were hidden in more than 22 thousands parcels of little marble plaques. 
According to an official in the Customs Service of Casablanca, the cargo on the ship was bound for Spain and was registered on the name of Kenitra-based "PRONATU Maroc" Company, whose Spanish owner is currently on the run.
