New bloom hotel management company Layia Hospitality has added a fourth property to its growing Living Courts portfolio of furnished & serviced apartments. The recently signed
Opal Living Courts will open in Dubai’s Al Barsha in January 2009 with a total of 48 apartments.

Located close to Dubai Internet and Media Cities, and a short distance from the prestigious Jumeirah beachfront, Opal Living Courts is set to become a new preferred address for both business and leisure travellers.

The classically-designed building will offer 32 spacious one-bedroom apartments and 16 palatial two-bedroom units. Each apartment at Opal Living Courts has its own allocated parking space, while a swimming pool, fitness centre, steam room and sauna complete the facilities available.

“We are delighted to add Opal Living Courts to our portfolio and look forward to opening the property in early 2009. This beautiful building, with its classical architecture, is a great example of what the Living Courts brand is all about: combining basic hotel services with a self-catering solution to provide the perfect accommodation solution for business executives and holiday-makers alike,” explains Daniel Hajjar, CEO, Layia Hospitality.

As with all Living Courts properties, Opal Living Courts apartments will be fully equipped and fully furnished, from the television to the bottle opener. Each apartment will boast a LCD television, DVD, fully-fitted kitchen, safe and high-speed internet access. Opal Living Courts will also offer housekeeping services, maintenance and security around the clock. An on-site deli counter will provide food and beverage items.

Layia Hospitality opened its first Living Courts property, Crystal Living Courts TECOM area, in February.

Facing The Greens, and located just off Sheikh Zayed Road and close to Dubai Internet and Media Cities, Crystal Living Courts has already proved a popular option with business and leisure travellers. This stunning new high-rise property offers 96 spacious 100-square metre two bedroom apartments and four luxurious 140-square metre three-bedroom units. Each unit is fully furnished to high standards and well equipped.

Opening this summer, Topaz Living Courts, Al Barsha, located facing Mall of the Emirates, will become the second property under the Living Courts brand. Offering an ideal location for business and leisure travellers, Topaz Living Courts will include 64 apartments, offering one bedroom units at 50 square metres, two bedroom units at 100 sqm & spacious three bedroom apartments covering over 130 square metres.

Finishing off the year, Layia Hospitality will launch in Sharjah with the opening of Ruby Living Courts, located in the Al Khan area of the emirate. Ruby Living Courts will bring Layia’s world-class serviced apartments concept to Sharjah with 146 apartments.

Launched in early 2008, Layia Hospitality is creating a world-class collection of four- and five-star hotels, luxury serviced villas and fully furnished apartments, with its first hotel property set to open in Dubai this summer. Layia Hospitality is committed to delivering superior standards on all levels.

Three distinct brands will make up the Layia Hospitality portfolio: Layia Hotels, Living Courts and a three-star hotel brand that is soon to be announced. Layia Hotels contains three elements: Layia Hotels, Layia Hotel Hotels & Residences and Layia Serviced Villas.

Layia Hospitality currently has nine properties signed and these will be open in the next 18 months. The company is also in advanced negotiations for six more properties.
