A Turkish police officer was shot dead and a second wounded Thursday in the predominantly Kurdish city of Diyarbakir, security sources told Reuters.
The shooting follows the killing of two police officers a day earlier by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which took place in Ceylanpinar on the Syrian border.
Two days ago a 20-year-old Turkish citizen linked to Daesh (ISIS) detonated a suicide bomb in Ceylanpinar, killing 32 people and wounding more than 100.
