Oman, UAE to Establish Joint Committee for Combating Drugs

Oman and UAE have agreed to set up a joint committee for combating drug trafficking, reported the Omani News Agency (ONA). 

Official from both countries’ interior ministries held talks in Muscat that focused on further security cooperation between the two Gulf states.  

“Gulf security cooperation in general would help protect the region from the hazards of drugs through our joint coordination,” an Omani official told ONA – Albawaba.com
