The UAE official Haj mission, headed by Dr. Mohammed bin Juma bin Salem, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf, arrived in Mecca on Saturday, according to Emirates News Agency.
Hassan Al Khayal, UAE Consul General in Jeddah and several other senior Saudi officials had received the mission at the airport. The delegation's plane earlier landed in Medina in the Saudi Kingdom, where members of the mission had disembarked to provide necessary services to UAE pilgrims and other visitors to Medina.
Salem and the members of the mission are due to be stationed in Mecca, where they will offer required services to the pilgrims during the Haj. (Albawaba.com)
