The number of Moroccan expatriates in Spain reached to 226,287 at the beginning of August. <i>Le Matin</i> reports that among the non-European nationalities living in Spain, Morocco is in the top three countries: Ecuadorians (253,197) followed by Moroccans (226,287), Romanians (134,067), Colombians (129,341), Peruvians (58,816), the Argentineans (50,684), Chinese (48,070), the Bulgarian ones (37,782), the Bolivian ones (31,568) and Ukrainians (31,432). The number of Moroccans residing abroad is recorded as 1,590,187 of which 955,871 are male sex and 634,316 of female.
