New projects launched in Algiers

The city council of Algiers has launched a series of projects which aim at reorganizing the city. Algiers, the capital and the largest city of the country, covers an area of 3,7 km2 with a population of 100,000 people. The new projects launched in the city will include re-housing and re-structuring of the city and the construction of two multi-floor parking lots and restoration of the buildings. These new projects will cover a period of six years and will cost approximately 2,513 billion dinars.
