NEC Computers launches two new servers at GITEX in Dubai

NEC Computers, a subsidiary of NEC Corporation, has announced that it will be launching 2 new servers at Gitex Technology Week scheduled to be held between 8-12 September at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. These include the NEC Express5800/120Bb-6, a new addition to NEC's SIGMABLADE server line-up and EXPRESS5800/320Fc, a new Fault Tolerant server with Express Cluster with up to two Quad-Core Intel® Xeon processors and Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003.
The new servers will be among several new products and technology on display at the NEC stand in Sheikh Maktoum Hall, Booth F10-1 that is aimed at showcasing the company’s various subsidiaries and its innovative strengths under the slogan, “That’s why NEC Innovates”.
On demonstration will be the NEC “Virtual PC Center”: an innovative solution bringing together voice and data, makes management of work stations easier, reduces administration costs, and guarantees enterprise data protection. The VPCC allows authentic user mobility where each user has access to their own work environment wherever they are, benefiting from unprecedented multimedia quality.

The VPCC, the Fault Tolerant Server and the latest NEC Workstation will be demonstrated at the stand as well as the other NEC products & solutions (displays, projectors, etc).
