Speaking in Cairo, at the opening of the Arab conference on child welfare, on Sunday, the Moroccan Secretary of State in charge of Literacy and Informal Education, Mr. Anis Birou, presented the main pillars of the kingdom’s strategy in the fight against drugs.
Mr. Birou, reports Le Matin, emphasized that Morocco’s efforts are concentrated on prevention and education, mainly through the school systems in the country, but also on treatment for people, who already started using drugs. This treatment comes in order to prevent them from further "sinking into a world of violence and delinquency."
