Montblanc’s new high jewellery collection in the spotlight at Cannes
Montblanc’s New High Jewellery Collection was in the spotlight at the recently concluded Film Festival in Cannes. The unique pieces from the Montblanc High Jewellery Collection were worn by some of the leading figures from the world of entertainment attending the official events during the Festival: Lucy Liu, Dita von Teese, Alexandra Maria Lara and Luisa Ranieri among others.
The international luxury brand chose the setting of a stunning villa overlooking the Bay of Cannes to introduce a new phase in the brand’s history.
The central feature of the collection was the patented, star shaped Montblanc Diamond, which serves as the main inspiration for all the new designs and collections - “Montblanc 4810”, “Etoile Secrète”, “Magie en Blanc et Noir”, “La Dame Blanche” and “Etoile de Montblanc”, all artistically created in the finest jewellery tradition.
For the Festival de Cannes, Montblanc created a new unique set - “Bouquet” - an impressive necklace made up of 1001 diamonds with a central 6 carat Montblanc diamond at its centre, matched with a set or earrings of more than 4 carats. A bouquet of diamond studded roses identifies with the sensual, embracing, invigorating and fascinating sensation linked to wonderful, intimate, passionate love moments. The bouquet is presented as wrapped and exclusive, enchantingly soft and sensual diamond ribbon that perfectly follows and adapts to the body and the neckline. At the centre of the love knot, embracing the roses, the absolute beauty of a fabulous Montblanc diamond, capturing and expressing the sparkle and shine of these fabulous and uniquely personal sensations.
This set was on display alongside, the other Montblanc High Jewellery Collections “Eclat”, “Lumière” and “Mélodies Précieuses”.
International celebrity fans of the exclusive diamond pieces include Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lopez, Lucy Liu and Naomi Watts who have worn the unique “Etoile de Montblanc” pieces at events around the world. International Star and Montblanc Brand Ambassador Eva Green sparkled in the diamonds at all major events this year.
The Montblanc Diamond, its facets artistically cut in the shape of the Montblanc star make the light dance inside the stone, develop a lively temperament and brilliant fire.
