ALBAWABA - A massive blast was reported in Syria near Damascus International Airport, local media announced on Wednesday.
Photos circulated on social media showing thick smoke rising as a result of an explosion in a former military base near Damascus International Airport, in Syria.
The cause of the explosion, whether it was deliberate or caused by the explosion of war remnants, remains unknown, amidst the mystery surrounding the incident, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
However, Syria's Al-Ikhbariya correspondent revealed that war remnants exploded near Damascus Airport.
No information has been received yet about the nature of the explosions or the extent of the human and material losses they caused.
