Returning to Dubai once again, Tom Peters is set to ‘shock’ the corporate world with his controversial perspective on what the nature of business ought to be.
Scheduled to present on September 18, 2005 at the JW Marriott, Tom Peters will deliver a groundbreaking, thought provoking presentation and will ask the audience to “Re-imagine! The Power Of People”.
Heralded by the Economist magazine as the Uber Guru, this self-proclaimed prince of disorder will re-educate participants and present them with a radical perspective on business management. Tom Peters earned himself a reputation as a radical thinker and business strategist after the launch of his revolutionary business book ‘In Search of Excellence’ 23 years ago. Since then, he has continually challenged audiences to think out of the box and defy traditional business practices.
Tom Peters will speak at the 2nd Middle East HR Summit, scheduled to be held from September 18 to 21, 2005 at the JW Marriott. Seats are available to attend the Tom Peters seminar independently or as part of the HR Summit.
“We are very glad to have Tom Peters on board with us this year. His clarity of vision sets definitive practices for all business professionals to ‘follow’ - or ‘not follow’ as he would have enthusiasts believe,” said Jackie Wilks, Conference Director for IIR Middle East, organisers of the event.
Author of the most outstanding bestsellers in the history of management, with books that have sold by the million, and over a 100 articles published in leading newspapers and journals, Tom Peters will share his experience and opinions on business policy and personal achievement with the audience.
The self-titled champion of bold failures, Tom Peters said, “The corporate identity of the Middle East has changed significantly over the past couple of years. Governments across the region have surged forward into various ventures that will attract international investment and operations. It is this push that has the world’s eye on the Middle East.”
“Additionally,” Peters added, “I plan to provoke the audiences’ most basic thought processes. With global business identity changing rapidly and the Middle East in the spotlight, continual improvement is not enough. Bold leaps are required by professionals in the business arena. It is time to re-think, to Re-imagine!”
“The seminar is an absolute must for business leaders and management executives throughout the corporate hierarchy. Leaders and followers alike, have everything to gain from attending Tom Peters’ seminar on Re-imagine! The Power of People. Places are limited and are selling fast so it is best to confirm attendance in advance,” concluded Wilks.
