One of the greatest songstresses of the modern day Arab world, Majida Al Roumi has accepted an invitation to participate in the Arab Music Festival, taking place in Cairo on November 1st, reported the Yalla Lebanese online news service.
Roumi had previously put off answering the festival’s organizers on whether she would attend or not, due to her husband’s bout with a strong cold.
Now that Roumi’s husband has come out of the rain, said the songstress “I will sing at the festival.”
However, Roumi placed a condition on the festival administrators; she will perform if and only if she is accompanied by the Arab Musical Orchestra, part of the Egyptian Opera House – Albawaba.com.
