Magyd Cherfi, ex "Zebda", tours Morocco

After 18 years of doing music together the seven members of the popular music band, Zebda, decided to break up and to develop solo careers. The first to take advantage of this decision and to embark on a solo career is the Algerian by origin, Magyd Cherfi. Cherfi, who was one of the lyric writers in the band and one of its three singers, has lately released a new album, produced by Barclay, titled "Quoted Stars".

 

<i>Yabiladi</i> reports that in this album Magyd Cherfi deals with similar topics to those he wrote and sang about in Zebda. The artist planned tours includes the following destinations:
May 24, College has Fontaine - Fes
May 25, French institute - Meknes
May 26, Complex Cultural Mohamed ZafZaf - Casablanca
May 28, French Institute – Marrakech.
