Lydec, which is the first Moroccan company operating in the field of management of electricity and water distribution and the biggest water utility provider in the country, has recently launched a large-scale drainage system project in Beni Yakhlef. <i>Le Matin</i> reports that this project lies within the scope of a national program, the total cost of which is estimated to be around 90 million dirhams. According to the spokesperson of Lydec, the project, which was launched on August 20, will be completed by May 2006.
