Secretary of the general popular committee for African unity in Libya, Ali Abdel Salam al-Turaiki met on Friday with Tunisian foreign minister al-Habib bin Yahia. The two discussed international matters of joint concern.
Al-Turaiki, currently on a visit to Tunisia, told reporters following the meeting that his talks with bin Yahia were in the framework of the constant negotiations between Tunisia and Libya, according to KUNA. He added the talks dealt with the situations in the Arab region and the African continent. Al-Turaiki also emphasized the similarities in points of view between the two sides in various issues, which were reviewed during the meeting. (Albawaba.com)
