Tuesday's World Cup qualification draw in Tokyo left the Kuwaiti National Football coach, Dushan Uhrine, unsure about the quality of his opponents and the prospects for his team's success. Kuwait will face Bahrain, Singapore and Kyrgyzstan in the pre-qualification round. ''The draw is good, but I can't comment on the competition because I don't know much about two of our opponents,'' Uhrine told al-Watan Daily, referring to Singapore and Kyrgykstan. Uhrine, a Czech national, led the Czech national team in 1996 to win the 2nd place in the European Football Championship held in England. He said he plans to establish Kuwait's training camp in Cyprus, where he coached the local Limasol club for 12 years. Additionally, he stated he intends to arrange practice matches versus Cyprus, and German, Russian and Yugoslavian clubs all of whom will be training in the Island.
