Kuwait remembers invasion

In remarks on the 15th anniversary of the Iraqi invasion, Kuwait's National Assembly (parliament) Speaker Jasem Al-Kharafi said on Tuesday that the Iraqi occupation was a "harsh experience for the Kuwaiti people, but said they have the will to overcome this dark era." Kharafi voiced confidence that the Iraqi people who also suffered under Saddam Hussein can rise above their pain and grief to rebuild their country.
