King Abdullah II meets with Chairman of Cordoba

According to PETRA, his majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday met on the sideline of the International Islamic conference whose deliberation was concluded today with Chairman of Cordoba initiative Organization, Feisal Abdul Ra'ouf. The Cordoba initiative Organization aims at enhancing relations between Islamic world and the US.
In other development, King Abdullah met with the US official Engrained Matson a vice president of Islamic society for North America.
The King expressed the importance of cooperation among Muslim scholars to present solutions to the challenges facing Islamic society and give a true image of Islam and its tolerant and noble values.
Abdul Ra'ouf and Matson, for their part expressed thanks for His Majesty for hosting the International Islamic conference and for the relentless efforts to defend Islam.
