Itisaluna Officially Announces the Launch of its Operations in the Province of Karbala
After finalizing the necessary technical preparations, Itisaluna Abr Al-Iraq, the latest National Fixed Wireless Voice and Data Telecommunications Company in Iraq, has recently announced the official launch of its operations and network coverage throughout the province of Karbala.
This announcement came shortly after Itisaluna's public statement of the commencement of the second phase of its expansion, which includes the provinces of Alfurat Al-Awsat and the Southern Provinces of Iraq, after the company’s previous success in launching its services in Baghdad and Basra at the beginning of this year.
The company will provide fixed wireless telecom services, allowing the residents of Karbala to make on-net and off-net calls, in addition to making international calls, not forgetting the new and value-added services which include SMS, call forwarding and waiting, and caller ID. Itisaluna's subscribers in Karbala will also enjoy the rich lineup of entertainment services offered by the network, which include the ring back tone instead of traditional dialing tones, an IVR bundle of services that provide an entertaining content such as jokes, horoscopes and contests allowing subscribers to dedicate songs to friends, relatives and loved ones wherever they might be. Itisaluna's entertainment bouquet also includes the Funbox service, through which subscribers can listen to excerpts of Classical and Ghazali poetry, access horoscopes and listen to jokes.
Another entertainment service offered by Itisaluna is SMS2TV, which is an interactive service that allows subscribers to communicate with various Arab satellite channels and television programs via short messages.
On the launch of their services in Karbala, Itisaluna's official spokesperson said: "It is our great pleasure today to share with the beloved residents of Karbala the joy of launching Itisaluna's services in the province; a service which is based on one of the latest and most important telecommunications technology, CDMA2000, and we are certain that we will achieve in Karbala the same success we achieved in Baghdad and Basra. Hoping they find in our services the ideal means for communication."
