In a further escalation, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz asserted, "We will not allow Egypt to violate the peace agreement, and we are actively addressing the matter.

ALBAWABA- Israeli air raids struck an air defense battalion near the Syrian city of Tartous, causing minor injuries to fighters from the Ministry of Defense, a security source told Al Jazeera. 

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority also reported an attack on the port of Tartous in northwestern Syria.

The Israeli military stated that due to recent regional developments, it had targeted infrastructure inside a military site in Qardaha. "We continue to monitor the Syrian front and will take all necessary measures to protect Israeli citizens," the army added.

Meanwhile, Israel Hayom reported that Israel has urged Washington to prevent Turkey from establishing three new military bases in Syria, signaling growing regional tensions.

In a further escalation, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz asserted, "We will not allow Egypt to violate the peace agreement, and we are actively addressing the matter. 

The agreement remains in place." He emphasized Egypt’s strategic importance, stating that the treaty "removed Egypt from the cycle of war, fundamentally altering the course of history."
