ALBAWABA- Israeli forces have carried out multiple attacks in southern Lebanon, including air raids on the towns of Yaroun and Majdal Zun, and artillery shelling near Rashaya al-Fakhar and Halta, Lebanese sources report.
The Israeli army claims to have targeted missile launch pads and destroyed combat equipment in Khiyam and Aitaroun. These actions mark over 60 reported violations of the ceasefire agreement reached last week.
Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati reported that Israeli ceasefire violations have exceeded 60 incidents. He added that nations involved in brokering the ceasefire have shown a strong commitment to addressing these breaches.
Lebanon's Minister of Health announced grim statistics from the ongoing Israeli aggression, with 4,047 killed and 16,638 wounded, including 316 children among the dead and 1,456 injured.
Despite these developments, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the ceasefire in Lebanon remains "holding" and that a mechanism is in place to address violations.
However, concerns persist as Israel has not fully withdrawn its forces from certain Lebanese villages, further straining the fragile truce.
