An Israeli soldier and an Israeli border policeman were slightly wounded after being hit by stones in clashes with Palestinian demonstrators in the West Bank city of Ramallah, the army said.
"The soldier was wounded during public disturbances around the Ramallah area. He received medical treatment on the spot and was evacuated to hospital," an army statement said.
The border policeman was injured in the Gaza Strip. He was treated on the spot and released, the statement said.
Separately, police sources said 10 Israeli policemen were injured from stones.
One Palestinian was declared clinically dead after being injured in the clashes and more than 200 were wounded, 10 from live ammunition, in the third consecutive day of violence, Palestinian sources said – JERUSALEM (AFP)
