ALBAWABA - The Israeli High Court announced ordering the full drafting of ultra-orthodox Jews, also known as Haredim, into the Israeli Army, as Israel continues to rage its aggression on Gaza for the past 9+ months.
The ruling will also restrict any funding of the ultra-orthodox schools. The local movement led the call for the court's hearing today, stated that the ruling that the government must begin drafting ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students immediately.
Earlier in May, the Israeli government approved the Haredim Military Drafting bill, despite growing calls of concerns over having the conservative Jews drafted in the IOF.
Attorney-General Gali Baharav-Miara announced his strong opposition of the bill's passage saying that " there is a legal restriction on advancing the haredi conscription law proposed by Prime Minister Netanyahu earlier this week".
"The proposal ignores the new and urgent needs of the IDF, lacks factual infrastructure, and disregards the position of the Defense Minister" Baharav-Miara added.
Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel
Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.

The latest statistics by the Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed that the death toll from Israeli brutal pounding on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has soared to 37,626+ people, with more than 86,098+ injuries.
Since then, approximately 85% of Gazans have been displaced, all of whom are suffering from severe food insecurity, and the healthcare system has collapsed. Hundreds of thousands of people lack shelter, and aid trucks are entering the area at a lower rate than before the conflict began.
