Israeli airstrikes hit Iranian ambassador residence in Damascus, killing Quds force leader

ALBAWABA- Syrian media reports that Israeli airstrikes targeted the residence of the Iranian ambassador near the Iranian embassy in Damascus, resulting in several fatalities. Additionally, an Israeli raid targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

 However, the Iranian ambassador was unharmed in the attack, as confirmed by the Iranian Noor News website.

 Unfortunately, Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a leader in the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon, was killed in the raid on the Mezze area.

 Iranian Al-Alam TV also confirms that Israel targeted both the Iranian consulate building and the residence of the Iranian ambassador in Damascus.

Other Iranian media sources report that Israeli aggression has targeted a building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus. There are emerging reports of casualties as a result of the strikes.
