Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that his government will have a "very profound cultural look towards the country's administration." He made the remarks in a meeting with the members of Majlis Cultural Commission.
The government should try to put an end to usury and favoritism from the administrative system through a very comprehensive cultural task, therefore, we should bear in mind that the effect of the government's cultural approach is more constructive than conduct of direct cultural activities, he said, according to IRNA.
Referring to devastating effects of the wrong action of the government or deviation from its principles, he said "unfortunately, we should accept that in cultural aspect we faced mismanagement and the vacancy of cultural management has resulted in negative consequences for the society.
"We need some devoted officials with faith in divine ethics in dealing with the country's administration to leave positive effects among people," he said.
The next government is to rely on capabilities of people to bravely continue with the country's scientific and development plans, he said.
