Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamid Riza Asefi stressed that Israel constitutes a big threat to the countries and peoples of the region.
During a press conference on Sunday, Asefi pointed out that the Israeli accusations against Iran regarding the elections are false and baseless and aimed at weakening the Iranian role in the region and the Islamic world. Asefi reiterated Iran’s support to the Palestinian cause, asserting Iran’s commitment to its right in possessing nuclear energy for peaceful use.
