Iran-Made Aircraft to Make Maiden Flight

The first Iran-made aircraft will soon make its maiden flight, the Persian daily Resalat was quoted on Tuesday by Iran Daily as reporting. 

Industries minister, Gholamreza Shafei was quoted as saying that manufacture of Antonov aircraft is one example of Iran-Ukraine cooperation. 

"Two of these 52-seat planes will fly before February 10th,” he announced.  

According to the daily, the industries minister stated that 70 percent of the parts used in these aircraft are produced in Iran – Albawaba.com
