Iran and Jordan are planning to establish a joint economic committee to boost bilateral economic cooperation, Iran Daily reported Tuesday.
The paper quoted an official report which was issued by the Public Relations Office of Iran's Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC) as saying that the decision was made during a meeting of Jordanian ambassador to Tehran, Nouh Ali Salman, and secretary-general of ICC, Mohammad Reza Ramezani, early on Sunday at Tahran.
Salman, for his part, expressed satisfaction over increased economic relations between the two countries and said his country can cooperate with ICC through its own Chamber of Cooperatives, inviting Iranian officials to consider investments in Jordan's free zones, according to the daily - Albawaba.com
