ALBAWABA - In a statement reported by the Iranian news agency, Iran issued a direct threat to Jordan, warning that the country "will place itself in the line of fire" due to its interception of Iranian missiles and drones.

Iran stated, "Jordan has positioned itself for our strikes, and it must not rule out being punished for its actions tonight."

Mehr News Agency reported that a well-informed source in the armed forces warned Jordan against "cooperation" with Israel.

The source stated, 'Iran will monitor Jordanian movements, and if they cooperate with Israel, Jordan will be our next target,' according to the Iranian agency.

The source in the armed forces emphasized, 'We warned Jordan and other countries in the region before the start of the attack against 'cooperating' with the occupying entity.'"

This threat comes in response to a series of direct confrontations with Iranian missiles and drones, as reported by eyewitnesses in Jordan. The Jordanian government has emphasized that the penetration of its airspace by missiles and drones poses a threat to its national security.

The government stated that repelling these attacks is the duty of the Jordanian Armed Forces to maintain security and safety within the country.

One of the intercepted missiles fell in the Marj Al-Hamam area in the Jordanian capital, Amman, after being brought down by the Jordanian Armed Forces. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the incident drew large crowds around the missile's location.
