A 25-year-old Colombian woman died Monday while attempting to escape from the Israeli police detectives, Haaretz reported Tuesday.
The woman, Carolina Sanchez, who did not have a residency permit, fell off her south Tel Aviv apartment's balcony while fleeing detectives from the police's foreign nationals division, who came to home in search of Fabian Enrico - another illegal foreign worker who is thought to belong to a Colombian gang involved in violent crimes, the daily said.
An officer stationed outside noticed two figures on the balcony trying to cross over to an adjacent balcony, Enrico managed to make it across and escaped, while Sanchez fell to the pavement and was killed instantly, the paper added - Albawaba.com
