Egyptian singer/mega-star, Ihab Tawfiq will perform his first concert at the International Babel Festival on the 30th of October.
It will be a day of first’s for the singer who will also mark the concert with the his first visit to Iraq.
According to ‘Al Shar El Awsat’ newspaper, who quoted a member of the Management committee of the festival and the head of Iraq’s Artists Union, Daoud AL Qaisi, saying “the concert that Tawfiq will hold will take place at the Babely Theater.”
Tawfiq is considered one of the most famous Arab singers in Iraq, where he enjoys a great following. The singer’s albums are constants in the country’s Top Ten charts – Albawaba.com.
