The Holding Group (THG) Jordan, the Middle East’s largest advertising and communications enterprise and parent company of a number of leading advertising, PR and marketing disciplines, announced the sponsorship of Jordan Challenge Team, the Kingdom’s emerging rally champion.
Being the first marketing communication entity to take significant interest in the world of motor sports, THG‘s sponsorship entails supporting Jordan Challenge Team during the upcoming Third National Rally (Forest Rally), taking place on August 10th.
Jordan Challenge Team consists of the region’s most distinguished talented drivers; Ala’ Khalifeh and Amir Najjar, who work together to position Jordan as the hub for emerging talents in the world of motor sports. Despite their very recent entrance into the world of rallying, Khalifeh and Najjar have been ranked among the Kingdom’s top three rally drivers accounting for top three positions among local drivers in the Jordan International Rally 2007. Moreover, the Jordan Challenge Team has achieved astounding achievements in overall speed test and hill climb ranking.
“This sponsorship stems from our real belief in national talents, and their ability in revamping Jordan’s sports arena. We believe in the team’s talent, and we will provide the drivers with our utmost support to excel and stand out locally and internationally,” commented Sharif AbuKhadra, Chairman of The Holding Group.
THG’s sponsorship of the Jordan Challenge Team will contribute into increasing the team’s participation at the Kingdom’s 3rd annual rally, during which the team will be competing against local and regional rally champions.
"We believe that our role extends far beyond that of traditional corporate social responsibility. We feel that it is our place and duty to be in the forefront as one of the main supporters of rising stars,” added AbuKhadra.
“We feel really privileged to have received such generous support. We highly appreciate being granted the opportunity to drive ahead with our dream. THG has shown great faith in our skills and we will therefore strive to reward this moral boost with astounding achievements accordingly”, concluded Khalifeh.
THG Jordan includes advertising agencies TEAM/Y&R, Intermarkets and Objects, direct marketing specialists Wunderman, media buying and planning arm Mediaedge:cia and public and media relations firms ASDA’A and Polaris.
