Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn has dismissed reports that she and Kurt Russel are splitting.
The Private Benjamin star says she's had enough of gossipmongers and wishes people would just "get a life.”
She fumes, "this is not true. I can't be more emphatic than that.
I've been around long enough to know when a rumor starts, it's
hard to put out that fire.
"But every single thing that has been printed about the two of us
in the past few months is a lie. We are very happy together, but we
are not surgically joined at the hip. We are adults and sometimes
we do things separately.
"It's horrible to show up at an event and be harassed and
questioned because you're not with your partner. Of course, now,
when we do show up together, it's like, `Oh, they're pretending.'
