Hamas representative in Lebanon Osama Hamdan on Sunday condemned US threats against Iran and said such threats show the US government's failure to make proper decisions and go with other countries to run global affairs.
Hamdan told the Iranian official news agency (IRNA) that (US President George W.) Bush's (recent State of the Union address) signals the countdown to the collapse of a superpower and its defeat in running the affairs.
He said that Muslim combatant forces and Iran have put behind them important and difficult conditions. He added that what is of importance is that a realistic attitude should be adopted towards the issues without being frightened by threats and provocations.
Elsewhere in the interview, Hamdan termed the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution on February 11, 1979, as a prelude to the awakening of the world and said the event breathed a sense of credibility and prestige to Palestinian aspiration. (Albawaba.com)
