Under the patronage of H.E. the ambassador of France in Jordan Mr. Jean Michel Casa, and the presence of several diplomats, business and social VIPs in the Kingdom, Guy Laroche Paris, one of the world's leading fashion houses, strengthened its presence in the region with the opening of two outlets in the Jordanian capital, Amman introducing its men's line of fashion. The main opening ceremony took place in its new boutique shop in Sweifiyeh.
"We are launching our boutiques in Amman after having studied the Jordanian market and its needs to the high end fashion products initially focusing on men's-wear" said Mr. Emad Dahleh, the local franchisee of Guy Laroche in Jordan. Mr. Dahleh also added "Our boutiques in Abdoun and Sweifiyeh will help in strengthening our connection with Guy Laroche customers in the Jordanian fashion market by providing them direct access to Guy Laroche fashion. With some multinational fashion houses, already in the market, we felt it was the right time for Guy Laroche to establish itself here".
Guy Laroche fashion house was first established in 1956 in the French capital, Paris, by the French couturier Mr. Guy Laroche. It started expanding throughout the years by; opening its second fashion house in 1961 in the French town of Mansion, creating the new perfume "FIDJI" and introducing its first men's Ready-to-wear products and opening the first Guy Laroche Monsieur boutique in 1966, introducing the famous "DRAKKAR" perfume in the year 1972, and the men's fragrance line "DRAKKAR NOIR" in the year 1982.
