ALBAWABA - Gunshots were heard in the vicinity of the American Embassy in Beirut, with reports of the gunman being killed.
Local reports said that several gunmen attacked the American Embassy in the Lebanese capital. One of the assailants was shot dead while the rest fled the scene.
The Lebanese Military dispatched forces to the area, with an investigation launched into the incident. An official report revealed that the assailant who initiated the attack is of Syrian nationality.
