The crew of the currently showing play Ana Wa Mirati Wa Monica (Me, My Wife and Monica), were forced to rush to the police station after producer Ahmad Al Abari was charged with pushing a pregnant lady with intent of harm, reported Al Sharq El Awsat newspaper.
Samir Ghanem, Nirmeen Al Faqi and Abari were asked to report to the police station, where they were surprised with the pregnant lady’s allegations.
The pregnant woman said that although she held a free pass to the play, Abari refused her entry and explained to her that the theater was too full to take another member of the audience.
However, Ghanem and Nirmeen intervened asking the woman not to proceed with her complaint. After two hours of negotiations, hands were shaken and all was well. The woman? Well, she went home a happy mom-to-be with another free pass and this time it was for the opening of the play’s winter season – Albawaba.com.
