Palestinian sources reported that one child and an adult died on Saturday during renewed internal clashes in the Gaza Strip. Clashes reportedly broke out between the Hamas-allied Palestinian security forces and members of the Hillis family in the al-Shuja'yah neighborhood of the southern Gaza Strip.
Iyhab Al Ghuson, spokesman for the deposed Palestinian Interior Minister, conveyed that the security forces "will do all in their power to bring an end to the violence," adding that clashes conmmenced when gunmen attacked members of the Hamas movement.
Palestinian media sources have reported that the slain adult is a member of the Fatah movement.
Last Friday clashes took place between the Palestinian police and the Hilis family, leaving four dead and dozens injured.
