Two Palestinians opened fire Sunday with anti-tank rockets and small arms on the "Philadelphi Route" in southern Gaza Strip, wounding three Israeli soldiers. One of them died later in hospital. Accoring to reports, the attackers fired at least two anti-tank rockets at the Israeli soldiers.

The attack, which coincided with talks in Jerusalem between visiting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Israeli leaders, took place near the Israeli "Girit" stronghold on the route, a border zone between the Egyptian Sinai and the Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement and Abu El-Rish Brigades, a Fatah off shoot claimed responsibility for this attack.

Earlier on Sunday, Palestinians fired an RPG shell on Tal Zoarb millitary post shortly after attacking it. According to Israeli sources, one Israeli soldier was wounded in this attack.

Meanwhile, Jewish right-wing radicals in "Gush Katif" settlement bloc went on a rampage Saturday night, wounding four Palestinians, residents said. These armed radicals arrived to Gaza Strip to help oppose the evacuation of the Gaza Strip settlers.
