ALBAWABA - Palestinian resistance fighters have increased rocket strikes on Tel Aviv and direct attacks on military equipment and people. The IDF acknowledged the deaths of two troops and the injuries of a battalion commander, the son of a former Israeli minister. 

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military branch, said their forces struck eight Israeli tanks in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in northern Gaza with "Yasin 105" and "Tandem" shells and "Shuwaz" and "Fedai" explosives in the latest strikes. 

A bulldozer and armored personnel carrier were among five Israeli military vehicles struck by al-Qassam Brigades in Jabalia.  The brigades said their members and the al-Quds Brigades, the military branch of the Islamic Jihad Movement, mortared Israeli occupation soldiers north of Jabalia. They mortared Israeli soldiers in al-Qassasieb. 

Al-Qassam Brigades said they fired 114 mm "Rajum" rockets into Israeli soldiers in the "Netzarim" region.  They said their militants engaged Israeli vehicles and troops at numerous sites in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. 

The al-Quds Brigades also posted video of their fighters attacking a cluster of Israeli vehicles east of Jabalia with "Ababeel" explosives and a missile strike on the "Ofakim" military installation east of Gaza. 

A surface-to-air missile from Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip crashed an Israeli army helicopter on the Gaza border, according to Israeli Channel 12.
