ALBAWABA - According to medical sources, at least 30 Palestinians have been killed since Wednesday morning as a result of Israeli troops' increased bombardment across the Gaza Strip. While Palestinian resistance groups conducted counterattacks against Israeli soldiers, the strikes hit essential infrastructure and displaced people.

An Israeli aircraft struck a camp for displaced people near Sheikh Radwan, west of Gaza City, killing 15 people, including three Palestinians, and a toddler. Rescuers were seen removing deceased and transferring wounded people to local hospitals in footage that Al Jazeera was able to get. There were more deaths and injuries from further attacks in central and southern Gaza.

Israeli airstrikes continued to target Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. As dozens of houses near the hospital were set on fire, the health ministry in Gaza reported that essential equipment, including the generator, had been destroyed. In his description of the terrible circumstances, Dr. Marwan Al-Hams mentioned a recent youngster who died as a result of exposure to frigid temperatures.

Significant retaliation acts were taken by resistance groups. Targeting Israeli soldiers and equipment in several locations, including a grenade assault east of Jabalia and the damage of a Merkava tank near Nuseirat, were attributed to the Qassam Brigades. Al-Quds Brigades also claimed to have captured an Israeli drone over Khan Younis and struck Israeli targets in Beit Hanoun.

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz promised to uphold military rule and eradicate Hamas's influence during his visit of the Philadelphi Corridor on Gaza's border with Egypt. In order to "neutralize threats," he described plans for buffer zones and security measures.
