ALBAWABA - Israeli Director General of the Defense Ministry Eyal Zamir submits his resignation on Monday.
During a meeting with Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, Zamir informed the first of his intention to resign in the coming period, The Jerusalem Post reported.
Upon request by defense minister, Zamir agreed to remain in his role during this period.
“At the request of the defense minister, it was agreed that at this time the director general will continue in his position,” the ministry confirmed.
Eyal Zamir was appointed by former defense minister Yoav Gallant in 2023.
