The executive committee of the Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fishing (UTAP) has recently held a meeting in Tunis. During the meeting, the executive committee of UTAH reviewed the general situation of the agricultural sector, the advance of the season of the harvests and the stage after-production and the preparations for the next general assemblies of the regional and national agricultural federations. <i>La Presse</i> reported on August 2 the participants at the meeting particularly elaborated on the criteria adopted for the granting of the loans, the rehabilitation of the farms, the implementation of the agricultural charts and the widening of the Social Security program to cover farmers and fishermen.
