ALBAWABA - Former Defense Minister and opposition leader Yisrael Beiteinu party leader Avigdor Liberman attacked the Israeli government, accusing it of failing in Gaza and giving territory to Hezbollah in the north.

In an assertion made on his X social media account, Liberman said that "the Israeli government has lost ground in the north and is yielding to Hezbollah's demands."

Liberman emphasized the need for fresh leadership in Israel, saying, "October 7, 2023, has been gone for a full eight months. Rather of winning throughout this period, we have experienced severe defeats. We haven't been able to secure the release of every captive in Gaza or neutralize Hamas."

Liberman has continuously demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu step down, charging him of putting his own interests ahead of the wellbeing of the country.
