EU-Syria accord to be inked before November 2005

Head of the European parliament delegation to Syria expressed her hope on Friday that the Syria-EU Association Agreement would be inked before November 2005. In an interview with a Syrian daily, Beatrice Patri said the EU is going to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Barcelona process for partnership in the Mediterranean in 2005 November, and thus there is intention on the part of the EU to sign the accord before the celebration.
