A World Trade Organization meeting in Qatar, aimed at launching global liberalization talks should go forward in November despite last week's attacks on the United States, a European Union Trade Commissioner said on Monday.
The Gulf Daily News quoted Pascal Lamy as telling a group of EU parliament members that "the commitment to Doha is undiminished."
Lamy said that if the terrorists' goal was to bring instability, "we should not give them that satisfaction but continue our efforts to build a more stable, inclusive and equitable world." – Albawaba.com
