The match played today at Dallas Stadium ended with Norway beating Ivory Coast 2-1, in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Both teams played a great game and pushed hard to go through to the Round of 16. The individual quality of the Norwegian players might have settled the result, but that doesn't take away from the effort the Ivory Coast players put in from start to finish.

Match Highlights and Goals

Despite Ivory Coast having the upper hand at the start of the game, pushing forward and missing several chances, the first half ended with Norway leading 1-0. This came after a great individual effort from Antonio Nusa, who made space for himself and unleashed an unstoppable shot in the 39th minute.

In the second half, the game became evenly matched, with neither side looking more dangerous than the other. That was until substitute and Manchester United star Amad Diallo scored a brilliant goal in the 74th minute to equalize for his team.

Things didn't stay the same for long. Norway pushed forward, deciding they didn't want to go to extra time. With a crucial assist from Patrick Berg, Erling Haaland scored the winning goal in the 86th minute, sending his team to face Brazil in the Round of 16.
