Emmanuel Macron refuses PM Attal's resignation

ALBAWABA - After reports of his intention to resign, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal has been asked by President Emmanuel Macron to remain in office to ensure the country's stability. 

Macron "thanked him for leading the campaigns" of his centrist coalition for the European and legislative elections, according to the statement, after Attal handed in his resignation.
