Morocco's young kite-surfer Souiri Majid El Warrat has won the title in the first national kite-surfing championship, which was held recently in Essaouira. The event was organized in celebration of the 5th session of the convivial University of Essaouira (February 18 to February 20), by the Moroccan Association of kite-surfing and by the Association of Mogador of kite-surfing, together with the Nautical Federation, “Ocean Veabond”.
<i>Aujourd’hui</i> reports that about 20 competitors took part in the event.
